They weren't as dependant on his goals last season, unlike the season before, but if he goes, I can't think of anyone to fill his position that wouldn't swallow up most of the cash they receive, but United have enough players to cope without him agaisnt most of the premeirship clubs, It will be in Europe
I think they will miss him most.

Maybe not and maybe Tevez will improve now big head has gone. Ronaldo was disrepectful to the manager that made him what he is. He is arrogant and I hope in Spain he finds out he is not as good as he thinks he is.

Nod, enough was enough he thought he was bigger than the club, disrespectful to manager and players. We supported him when he wwas getting abuse and chucked it in our faces, good riddance.

Of course they are going to miss him,
he's played out of his skin for United for the last 2 season, How you you have one of the best palyers in the world leave a club, and he won't be missed.

We are all going to miss him. Frowner
Even if we have gone down a division, at least we could still abuse him on the tellybox.

Whichever way you look at it he is a class player!

Of course it will be Croc,
I wasn't Ronaldo's number one fan, but he is a world class player, I don't think another player in the world would have got the goal that he scored away to Porto last season.
Also his performances against Arsenal in last year C/L were a different class.

According to today's Grauniad, his feelings have been very hurt and he's really not sure whether he can forgive SirAlex, a conciliatory phone call notwithstanding Hug

It's not our fault that he signed up to a contract with an agent that really amounts to a re-introduction of Human Cargo. Big Grin

Seriously though, I hope he stays.

it's not over until it's over Eeker

From man uniteds official website:

"Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of ÂĢ80million for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

At Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player.

Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June. The club will not comment until further notice."

you see..its still up to him...he may well decide to feck the costa del sol as he'll miss going to the Goats Gate for a pint of Joey Holts Bitter Thumbs Up
