Hey darlo
what's happening on facebook? I heard that elmo is not allowed to post on status updates because it makes them too long or something.
And I made a comment on your status update earlier and when I went back to see if you had answered the comment had gone??
I think they must be removing comments that are more than one line long - the twonks

I don't know Veggie, don't like the new format though. Going to be an interesting summer ahead transfer wise thats for sure, hoping Arsenal more involved in title race next year if they sort themselves out.

Yeah, nothing official on the Arsenal Website yet about any transfers but that's the Arsenal way.
Speculation on Gunnerblog and some of the fan sites about possible targets but it is only speculation.
There was a rumour on one of the general footy sites about Real getting sued if they withdraw their offer for Ronaldo and or Kaka
I wasn't aware they had made a formal offer for either.
I hate all this mad rubbish tbh, I do prefer the Arsenal way of saying nothing until the deal is done

They are on about Ribery too Veggie , Madrid can't take no for an answer they might decide to go after Wenger again thats the sort of club they are. Hope Munich, Utd and Milan stand firm and don't put up with any nonsense from them.
Usually on the website the club doesn't comment about transfers. Most of it is just rumours so far, nothing concrete on whats actually happened.

Oh they definitely want AW and I think they may get him next year when his contract runs out.
Unless I have really misjudged him as a person I don't see him going there now not with things he's been saying on the website.
I just don't believe he is dishonest enough to talk about his hopes and plans for next season while plotting to leave.

Hi everyone
Since my team have gone down I'm still supporting a Premier team as well as mine and I hereby announce it will be the POOL. Sorry everyone else but.............

Wenger has always been loyal to Arsenal , I so didn't believe it when Madrid tried to say he's tempted to join them. He's got a brand new project to rebuild the team again and is more interesting than a club in decline trying to recapture it's Galactico statius .

Darlo as you know I'm no great lover of Real Madrid, infact I hate them.
But they operate in just the same way as other big clubs in europe. The only difference is they are more open about what they do than other clubs.
At the end of the day, the players and their agents have the power so it's not really a question of clubs standing firm. If a player wants away, their agent will make damned sure it happens.
It's not the clubs that are the dodgy parties here, it is the agents. Well I think so anyways.

I like that it's not just PL teams we talk about on here tho onetoo, I'm really interested to see how Newcastle get on next season.
and after the euphoria of my beloved (but second team) Brentford going up as champions I am sure next season will bring the misery of them going straight back down.
Yeah Darlo I hope you're right, I'm writing to him at the mo to thank him for his hard work this season and just saying how much we appreciate him

Crunchy you're right about the agents, it's due to them how we've got problems with Tevez and the third ownership thing, but moving on for that players now we all know are unloyal and will go for the money nowadays.
Thats really good Veggie , he might be a opposition manager but Wenger has done a great job at Arsenal, the sunshine of Madrid must be tempting but his heart is with Arsenal and the chance of creating a brand new team for the future.

Jose Enrique said he would stay with Newcastle, but now Atletico Madrid have shown an interest and now he's tempted to go back to Spain. Seen it on the net today whilst at College .

They'll have to be pruning alright onetoo.
That club has the potential to be one of the most solvent in England with the fan base and years of mismanagement have wrecked it.
It's so wrong

, just have to wait and see. Oh and Barton says he wants to stay .
Hoping Newcastle come back up next season , Championship sure is going to be really good next season looking at the teams who will be there.

You're so right Veggie. It's an either or thing between us and Sunderland. (Not forgetting Boro of course) but we don't have more than one team in the area to pick from.

Hi RZB
Darlo, as for Barton.I say get rid now! I was all for giving him a last chance but he's shot his bolt (to my mind)he's had a million chances and can't change obviously. He only wants to stay cos he knows no-one else will have him I reckon. He's realised that I think

, Barton knows he has screwed up too much, each time promised to change but as they say a leopard never changes it's spots.

If Moysey thinks he can 'settle' him he's welcome to him. Thing that annoys me is they go for 'cut price'
Nice pic Darlo.
You picked the best team onetoo if Liverpool was what you meant by 'the POOL'

It's getting very interesting as the clubs move from the sports pages to the financial pages. I wonder if the banks would ever dare to wind one up. If you or I were in debt to ÂĢ20k the banks would not leave us alone. Yet these clubs are in debt in excess of half a billion.
I think Madrid is the right move for Kaka. I doubt he would have held down a regular starting place at The Bridge...
