Hey darlo
what's happening on facebook? I heard that elmo is not allowed to post on status updates because it makes them too long or something.
And I made a comment on your status update earlier and when I went back to see if you had answered the comment had gone??
I think they must be removing comments that are more than one line long - the twonks Mad

Yeah, nothing official on the Arsenal Website yet about any transfers but that's the Arsenal way.
Speculation on Gunnerblog and some of the fan sites about possible targets but it is only speculation.

There was a rumour on one of the general footy sites about Real getting sued if they withdraw their offer for Ronaldo and or Kaka Confused

I wasn't aware they had made a formal offer for either.
I hate all this mad rubbish tbh, I do prefer the Arsenal way of saying nothing until the deal is done

They are on about Ribery too Veggie Roll Eyes, Madrid can't take no for an answer they might decide to go after Wenger again thats the sort of club they are. Hope Munich, Utd and Milan stand firm and don't put up with any nonsense from them.

Usually on the website the club doesn't comment about transfers. Most of it is just rumours so far, nothing concrete on whats actually happened.

Oh they definitely want AW and I think they may get him next year when his contract runs out.
Unless I have really misjudged him as a person I don't see him going there now not with things he's been saying on the website.
I just don't believe he is dishonest enough to talk about his hopes and plans for next season while plotting to leave.

Darlo as you know I'm no great lover of Real Madrid, infact I hate them.

But they operate in just the same way as other big clubs in europe. The only difference is they are more open about what they do than other clubs.

At the end of the day, the players and their agents have the power so it's not really a question of clubs standing firm. If a player wants away, their agent will make damned sure it happens.

It's not the clubs that are the dodgy parties here, it is the agents. Well I think so anyways.

I like that it's not just PL teams we talk about on here tho onetoo, I'm really interested to see how Newcastle get on next season.

and after the euphoria of my beloved (but second team) Brentford going up as champions I am sure next season will bring the misery of them going straight back down.

Yeah Darlo I hope you're right, I'm writing to him at the mo to thank him for his hard work this season and just saying how much we appreciate him
FM
Crunchy you're right about the agents, it's due to them how we've got problems with Tevez and the third ownership thing, but moving on for that players now we all know are unloyal and will go for the money nowadays.

Thats really good Veggie Smiler, he might be a opposition manager but Wenger has done a great job at Arsenal, the sunshine of Madrid must be tempting but his heart is with Arsenal and the chance of creating a brand new team for the future.

Jose Enrique said he would stay with Newcastle, but now Atletico Madrid have shown an interest and now he's tempted to go back to Spain. Seen it on the net today whilst at College Laugh.

As I said..............

They'll have to be pruning alright onetoo.

That club has the potential to be one of the most solvent in England with the fan base and years of mismanagement have wrecked it.
It's so wrong Mad

Hi RZB Smiler

Darlo, as for Barton.I say get rid now! I was all for giving him a last chance but he's shot his bolt (to my mind)he's had a million chances and can't change obviously. He only wants to stay cos he knows no-one else will have him I reckon. He's realised that I think
