You had Oasis at Heaton Parpk last nigth.
I know some mates that went up for it.
quote:Have you heard what happened? they had power cuts and lots of disruption - Noel announced that fans could get a full refund, but they soldiered on anyway

You don't get them problems with Manchester more famous 90's band.

Manchester City's Gareth Barry had a training ground bust-up with Gary Cahill as England prepared for their World Cup qualifier with Kazakhstan. Cahill, a late replacement for Rio Ferdinand, clashed with fellow former Aston Villa ace Barry, although it is not known whether the Bolton defender had provoked Barry over his move to Eastlands.Cahill reportedly clattered into Barry in a training match and the pair did not shake hands after the incident.
Go on Gary...

Barney, I've just seen that the UEFA womens cup is going to be replaced with a Womens CL - and they are saying that the top nations can have two representatives instead of one.
That may mean that Everton Ladies will get a place too - I'm not sure how they work out who is a top nation

I hope so too Barney, the more the merrier.
I have no idea how they seed womens footie, whether it is based on the national team or club sides etc.
If Blatter or Platini are involved though they will no doubt use a formula that excludes the English

Re the footy chants, Spurs seem to have a good line in spontaneous ones. I remember a match where David James was in goal for the opposition (it could have been Man City) and he did his usual Calamity James act. Shortly afterwards Spurs had a free kick just outside the area.
Which they took to a deafening chorus of "Hit the target and you'll score"
The other one I heard about concerned the Fashanu (sp) brothers
