Hi Tom wavey
did you used to post on C4? What was your name there?
Nice to meet you anyway, I'm a Gooner as if you couldn't tell from the avatar Big Grin

Re the footy chants, Spurs seem to have a good line in spontaneous ones. I remember a match where David James was in goal for the opposition (it could have been Man City) and he did his usual Calamity James act. Shortly afterwards Spurs had a free kick just outside the area.
Which they took to a deafening chorus of "Hit the target and you'll score" Big Grin

The other one I heard about concerned the Fashanu (sp) brothers Eeker Big Grin

pmsl veggie Smiler

I remember this season when man united and man city were on tv at the same time in a pub, there came big cheers from the crowd watching the city game, some wag in the united half of the pub shouted over "Have you won a corner" Laugh

Hey perones wavey

I loves the chanting, me. You always get the best chants at the Emirates (or anywhere else I guess) if you are sitting close to the away supporters - plenty of banter going on Big Grin

I have to say that some of the stuff makes me laugh even if I think it's a bit naughty - some of the Gooners now sing a song about 'Arry having a twitch which seems a bit unfair.

The Fashanu one was after Justin had been outed in the papers as being a bit of a tart with rent boys and so on. His brother John was playing and missed an open goal.
Which was greeted with a rousing chorus of 'Score with your brother, you couldn't score with your brother' Eeker Big Grin
Cruel but funny

He was a footballer before his brother,

Was he the one who had sex in the house of commons under the speaker box... Blush

Yeah it was terribly sad about him RZB, he ended up committing suicide after he was going to be prosecuted for underage sex. I remember the tabloids running hate campaigns against him.
The thing is that I think he was accused of sleeping with 18-19 year olds when the gay age of consent was 21 - so not really underage stuff at all imo
Apologies if I am wrong.

But the chant was way before that happened and it was funny Red Face

I think he got goal of the season one year
while at Norwich, had his back to goal, turned and planted it in the top corner, it was against
either Liverpool or United.

Watched him in European games, he's also good on Fifa and Pro Evo Big Grin. Spurs will be hoping to finish European spots next season, theres just been too much disappointment, Carling Cup win aside Wink, all that resources. I mean look how far Everton and Villa have come and they have less resources.

Glad about United sponsorship Devil.

Wowza, sounds like the madrid thing has some credence..you never know what to believe do you ? 48hrs ago kaka was saying he was staying at Milan for the rest of his career and could he be left alone, and then:

"An agreement with Chelsea could not exist. Kaka goes to Real or he remains at Milan," Galliani told Italian newspaper Gazetta dello Sport:

"Negotiations with Real do exist but an agreement is not done."
