He looked like he'd already been celebrating tbh Big Grin
He was with ( I think Makele) and the Sinclair lad that you've got out on loan apparently.
They walked past us and I said to my mates daughter "That's Frank Lampard*, she was really excited, she ran up to him and said I love you Frank Big Grin Big Grin And congratulations.
The lying little trollop, she's a Gooner through and through Mad

He looked at us (wiv the buttonholes) and said Wedding?
She said "Yeah her son, the receptions round the corner if you want to pop in" Eeker Eeker

Him and Makele (if it was him with the Lamps)said Congratulation to you and that was it.

Well apart from me having to crowbar her away from them - then the paps leapt out and that was that

main thing was you were there,

that was an odd decision re the goal that never was, imagine if Everton had got a late leveller, Eeker

well we shouted for it.....but then we would!!!......heard on the radio on the way home that it was over the line.....and then actually saw it on sunday.....definitely a goal....

i think it'd of been a disaster if they had and gone on to win it... Eeker

Ello lovely Hug

We were cheering you on on Saturday (sorry Spongey and Chelsea peeps) while we were getting ready for my sons wedding.
There were about 10 people in my place, and when you scored we lifted the roof off.
Shame Felini couldn't get to that ball just in front of goal when you were 1-0 up Frowner

Good move for Barry. He was never realistically going to get in the Liverpool side ahead of either Mascherano or Alonso was he?

So he's gone to a club where he'll be guaranteed first team football, he can settle in and make the position his before all the inevitable superstars come and the success starts. They have the money to build a top class team around him and Robinho meaning Barry will have a realistic chance of first team football in a team that will probably win major trophies in the next 2 or 3 seasons.

Ambition is always an attraction for a footballer when looking for a new club. City's ambitions over the next few seasons are much higher than Villa's, so how anyone can say it's a step down is ridiculous.

Kaka to Real for 65 million

Not sure I believe that, it's probably just one of Reals attempts to unsettle him, he's said he wants to stay in Milan. But with Football nowadays anything can happen he'll probably end up going as theres no loyalty.

If it is true, it'll almost certainly mean no move for that boy Ronaldo, so hopefully it is true.

Think Kaka will be class in La Liga. It'll suit him down to the ground.

Although I'd have thought Kaka would fancy Chelsea with Ancelotti there. Again I think Kaka's strength, pace and skill would mean he'd thrive in the premier league.

i think it's more the fact ppl can't get used to the fact city are now a huge force in the transfer market.....they have massive financial clout.....in terms of wages etc they can offer players....

they are the new kids on the block finance wise....and alot of people don't like it.....cos now city are an option whereas before it was utd,chelsea,arsenal,liverpool.......now city are in a financial position to outgun everybody.....

i agree city's ambitions are higher....they'll have talked to barry about who they want to sign......or they're already in talks with etc.....so although they don't have champions league football this season.....it may well come in the next few years.....

that's the thing barry will have looked at.....whereas realistically....would villa be competing transfer wise.....and be able to maintain a push for europe???.....they pretty much fell away second half of the season....
SS
Exactly spongebob.

City are competing at the top end of the market now and that's what is attractive to players. Like no other club could have beaten Chelsea(look how rich they are) to Robinho last summer.

It'll be interesting to see who else they sign. They need 2 new CB's though because Dunne is the most over-rated lump of lard excuse for a defender around I think.
