Yep! You can't play someone just cos they missed out. He had to play his best team.... and have a gameplan.

yeah i'd heard he'd promised him a place......either way it didn't work.....

anderson was awful......few of my utd mates are hoping he'll be shipped out.....not just for last night.....but they don't rate him at all.....

there were alot of performances that were....well to put it bluntly....crap!!

vidic was given a torrid time......rooney couldn't get in the game.....though why fergie stuck him out wide is a mystery....he's far more effective in a central role...

ronaldo seemed to forget he had team mates and was more intent on playing for himself.....shooting when better options were available....

carrick couldn't get a sniff in midfield......giggs looked his age....and scholes just contributed his customary bad foul and picked up his inevitable yellow.....

Gotta say, last nights game - we were'nt even in it. I think it was cruel fate though that both Hargreaves and Fletcher couldnt play last night. Last nights game was exactly their type of game. No excuses though - they had important players missing too. ho-hum.

i'm surprised at fergie joe...if that was the reason he played him......you can't just pick someone on that basis.....

We just weren't good enough end of , players will have to see now where it went wrong and how they can improve. Well at least now I can take my disappointment out on Fifa 09 .
