Big Grin, the only thing he did what was bizarre this season was when he did the team talk with the players on the pitch. True Nod, he's done a great job and Hull can be proud.

That was not good move imo, but he's been given loads of flack about it so hopefully he'll never do it again!!! Disappointed

Some things are best kept private Nod, but at the time the fans must be thinking serves them right. Phil Brown has picked up lots of things from his time at Bolton and applied it to Hull.

Smiler, good luck for next season. It was funny when Phil Brown was singing on the Microphone Laugh

lmao! No it was cringeworthy!! hehe!! Big Grin But that's Phil Brown and I wouldn't want any other manager than him. ( Even though he's a pig headed, moody, mean, arrogant man. ! ) At least you know where you stand!!

Like Spongey says though Darlo Hull have a lot of work to do as do the others that escaped.[/QUOTE]

yep.....hull.....sunderland too....they escaped by the skin of their teeth.......

it's great to stay up.....but it still doesn't change the fact that both of those teams were not good enough....and both were reliant on other teams results to stay up.....

so the sunderland fans who were bouncing around cheering over the villa goal shouldn't get too excited.....cos if they don't improve they'll be gone next year.....

as one commentator said....it's rather sad when the biggest cheer you give is to another teams demise.....shows you have nothing to cheer about for your own team......which says it all....cos they haven't this season.....

I agree and City are no different to Sunderland in that respect, saying that I think if your team stays up...under no matter what circumstances you're gonna be pleased. Nod

oh yes of course........and obviously there is the local rivalry with sunderland and newcastle.....

but the way some sunderland fans were carrying on.....you'd of thought they were top 6 or something.....

niall quinn keeps promising big things......a big name manager to go to the next level.....but next level on this seasons showing would be mid table next term......

and does he spray himself in fake tan or something???...........he was looking a bit tom jones yesterday........ Big Grin

His nickname is sun bed... Or at least, it was when he was here as a player and then coach.

Hi Disley Wave, what do you think will happen with Bolton next season and what are you expecting from the transfer market?.

This article is interesting for you...

Keep hold of Cahill at all costs, try and pick up a few creative players, and we could push on for a chance of a top half place.

That's all down to the board though, and given their famous penny-pinching, I'm not expecting much investment.

Then again, we're supposedly close to signing a new midfielder already. I think it could be Sean Davis from Pompey who would be a decent signing.

One things for sure, Megson said he'd need four transfer windows to do enough to get Bolton away from an annual relegation battle after Allardyce left a squad of 40 year olds.

This coming window is that fourth one, so we'll see what happens...
