OHG you're a Stokie cool .
used to be a big fan way back in the 70s aint that interested these days
though to be honest, and always had a soft spot for Newcastle as well,
even more so since I met the missus (geordie lass) and I recently moved
up that part of the world as well, so I feel their pain,
even if SOME folk feel the need to have a 'pop' at my home team.

Nothing personal but Stoke were not the most entertaining team, nor indeed did they play within the spirit of the game.

True . My dad supports Albion, me and my bros support United. He was so happy when they went up, was gutted when they went down .

Now we'll see who actually wanted to be there and not bleed us dry. By that I mean transfer requests rather than players we have to dump

Oh right, well he said he's disappointed about what happened and he was asked if he's staying for next season. He said now is not the right time to comment on that.

Stoopid question to ask in the first place...I wish these reporters would get their act together. It's like someone asking Button how did winning Monaco this afternoon feel

They like to state the obvious, or ask the obvious. I think i'd make a good interviewer .

Sebastien Bassong will definetly be on his way out, he's made that perfectly clear after all you've done for him too.

, you'll hopefully get rid of the deadwood and who doesn't want to be there. Then get in players that want to play for you. I can see Taylor staying.

The one shining light in the deep dark tunnel and maybe Beye.
Beye is a good player , hopefully some of them will stay as you will go back up sometimes it's best to stay where you are wanted.

they'll be looking at contracts and trying to offload the big earners.....they'll lose major money from tv rights etc.....and it won't be financially savvy to keep those on the big money.....
i'd expect a few will be slapping in transfer requests.....
but.....there's alot of players who'd give their right arm to play for the toon infront of 50 odd thousand every other week.....those are the players needed next season.
The only star player (as it were) who never gave up playing was Tuncay. I'm sure someone will snap him up.
The likes of Owen and Martins will probably leave Spongey . It's a shame about what has happened there .

He was linked with a 8 million move to Chelsea before. You're keeping Wheater though by the looks of it. Downing will probably go to Spurs or Villa.
