It tells you the ratings of your local food places on their hygiene levels and I was shocked and a bit disgusted that most of my favourite take aways only scored a 1 
Now I'm starving and want a nice chinese but I'm finding a place to order from pretty difficult now 
Have a look at your fav places to see if they score well.

It is great idea.
I cannot find any of my faves on there though.
Some haven't been inspected yet Smarting, hopefully they're going to be done though and you can see the standard of food you're getting.
I'm proud to say - that three of our shops are 5* ...........the other one is 4* and that is simply because the 'daily diary' wasn't on premises that dAy as the manager had taken it home to fill in.
The sad thing is ......................I do know that the majority of inspectors are basically crap!.Many, many takeaways never even get a visit because the inspectors wouldn't know where to begin ..........they also know that they'd lay down conditions that they know would never, ever be met. It's far easier for them to make regular inspections of responsible places ............they then tut tut at a cracked tile or minute traces of dirt in a fridge seal. These places then bend over backwards to get the job sorted and the inspectors can tick boxes and look like they're doing something.
It's all about seeing that they're doing a good job ...........they run a mile from the filth and badly run establishments because it's a bit too much like hard work.
BELIEVE ME - I've seen it. Rant over!
