Not sure, my friends brought me some eggs from their quails so may do something with those, but not sure what???? Maybe more of a snack than a meal given the size of them, but there are lots of them

That sounds yummy, especially the dauphinoise, one of my faves. BTW I was thinking of you when I ate my Magpie fish n chips yesterday, especially when I was too full and couldn't finish them off!

Ha ha, think I might be able to be a bit more inventive than that! I'm now thinking a 'warm' salad of quail's eggs, baby tomatoes, potatoes and pancetta on rocket leaves with flat leaf parsley, and some nice bread. (But I'd prefer your dauphinoise potatoes!)

My favourite salmon fishcake recipe? Mix lightly cooked salmon with mash, paprika, lemon juice and grated rind and grated nutmeg. Coat in seasoned flour, chill in fridge then fry in hot oil, (or bung in a hot oven if you're being healthy.) Serve with a lemon mayonnaise or lemon cream sauce...gawjuss
