I got this fly catcher thing from tesco. It's like a sticker you put on the window with a picture of a flower on it, but both sides of the sticker are adhesive. Anyway the flys are attracted to the colour of the flower and land on it but they can't fly away coz its so sticky.

Yeah it doesn't make sense as to why it doesn't. I was most annoyed at both my hairspray waste and the hyper fly

And yes they do! They spark as well if you swish at them in mid air, and as soon as they hit the thing they seem to stick to it then you administer one more shock and they're fizzing like gooduns.

Just don't have the same idea that I did, that if you press the swat into the fly whilst still pressing the electric button it'll die quicker because it hurts. A lot.

I'll send my cats round! Its hilarious when a fly comes in ours; The 2 youngest cats make this weird high pitch "chatting" sound and run around like loonies chasing it, doing everything in unison. Flying through the air like a ballet dancer! The other day, Storm actually got one! IT was flying round the window, he splatted it with his paw, and then very slowly, pulled it down the bottom of the window! I tried to stop him, but he ate it!! Not nice at all, but its funny to see them chase it!
