Another favourite is the flag of Wales, see.  There's nice!  I think slapping a mythical creature in the centre of your flag, makes for a better flag.  The English flag would be much improved it if featured a vampire, zombie or wear-wolf. They could even bring it up to date with a 'grey' alien.

Every time I see the Spanish flag it reminds me of where I want to be.

It would be an improvement as the English flag is a bit boring. At least the Welsh have given it some imagination!

 

Maybe not vampires or 'greys', maybe keep it classical with griffins, hydras or cyclopes?  Keep the red cross but have a big cyclops head in the middle with an all seeing eye staring malevolently and hypnotically.  It would scare the shit out of other nations!   Might improve English World Cup hopes too!

Not BB, that would be shite!  Who's going to fear England if we've got the BB eye?  They're just going to think we're a nation obsessed with celebrity culture.  We are, but we don't want to let foreigners know that!  On the other hand, the BB theme has a bit more oomph in it than God Save the Queen!  Imagine England coming out sporting events to the BB theme! 

Essentially, all flags could be improved if they had menacing mythical creatures and monsters.  I suppose the Greeks could have Zeus as it's only fair they have the boss mythical god as they invented it all. 

 

The Welsh have their dragon, so they don't need to change as they have good flag already! 

 

A harp for the Irish is a bit rubbish, they need a stylised leprechaun (not a cute one) that you wouldn't mess with!  The English could even have a Dalek and the Scots, obviously a fearsome Nessy!

I still think this will work.  Post-modern ironic eye and the BB theme tune! Which nation would not tremble?!
