Oh bugger, I've just switched from Virgin to Sky.
Same thing happened in Australia. Then a year later a different Media Company revived it. I think the same thing will happen here, we'll have one year off.

Cooool!
i have a feeling that now ch4 have driven it into the ground the others are just helping to drive down the price further by saying they are not intrested.
if it can still get 2 million viewers when its as badly made as it is now just think what it could do if its done properly.

DS Article
I think it was always unlikely that ITV or C5 would pick it up - they simply don't have the cash at the moment.
As for Sky: Stuart Murphy's comments don't sound as dismissive as DS imply:
"We talk to Endemol all the time but aren't discussing Big Brother with them."
To me, that does not rule out a deal in the future. Remember: whatever happens, there won't be a BB series with a new broadcaster until 2011 at the earliest.
My best guess at the moment? BB will turn up on a new channel (possibly Sky) in a new format without public voting - esentially along the lines of BB USA...

I'll cry if a cable company gets it!

I think if either company win the rights they will want the other company to air it also, as they do Sky1 and Sky news etc. They would want to show advertisers the potential viewership in order maximise advertising revenue.
I've put a consortium together in association with Disnae

I'll get my men from Giafook Inc to talk to your men...
Send letters/e-mails to Sky asking them to pick it up and see what happens.

Yeeughh, I hated the USA version. It's crap without the public vote. If Sky don't take it (and bring it back to basics) I'd rather it just died the death.
From what I've heard, Sky One won't open negotiations until next year but they are interested.
Should we start a petition to get someone to buy it?

If Virgin did bid for it, surely it would just go on the Virgin1 channel, which is available on Sky anyway...
