ADAM Boulton has just lifted the lid on the reality behind the urban myth that Peter Mandelson once mistook mushy peas for guacamole in a chip shop.

The incident occurred, said Adam on Sky News, but it was an unnamed American researcher who made the mistake, not Mandelson. The story grew legs, apparently, because Peter’s good friend Neil Kinnock spread it round (the rumour, not the guacamoleâ€Ķ).

Thats what I cooked Lass, found some new potatoes in the larder that looked past their sell by date, so just cut the sprouts off, the sausages were organic tho Big Grin

Can anyone remember those really big fat processed tin peas, can't remember the name, but that's all my brother would eat and roast tatties. I quite like mushy peas but got to have lots of vinegar on 'em.

And it was nearly a disaster! (I blame George Lamb for that). Mad

That sounds delish...

Why was it a disaster?

'Cos I was half watching BBLB and Bowtie B'stard rattled my cage (when I should have been rattling my pans). Big Grin I was so p'd off at how manipulative the prog was (why was I surprised????) that I stopped watching my steaks.

Disaster was averted in the nick of time though.
And yes, it was delish. Smiler
