Was it Peter Mandelson trying to mix with 'the commoners' who went to a chippy and asked for fish and chips and guacamole?
I'm having cheesy chicken and ham pasta bake with mini stuffed jacket potatoes
Perhaps "peas puree" would be a more diplomatic term to use on this a forum which has the occasional visit from 1.5 German laydees.

ADAM Boulton has just lifted the lid on the reality behind the urban myth that Peter Mandelson once mistook mushy peas for guacamole in a chip shop.
The incident occurred, said Adam on Sky News, but it was an unnamed American researcher who made the mistake, not Mandelson. The story grew legs, apparently, because Peterâs good friend Neil Kinnock spread it round (the rumour, not the guacamoleâĶ).

Ribe eye steak, homemade rosti, grilled toms and garlic mushrooms.
And it was nearly a disaster! (I blame George Lamb for that).

Why was it a disaster?

'Cos I was half watching BBLB and Bowtie B'stard rattled my cage (when I should have been rattling my pans). I was so p'd off at how manipulative the prog was (why was I surprised????) that I stopped watching my steaks.
Disaster was averted in the nick of time though.
And yes, it was delish.
