Excellent!  More people to buy you more drinks innit

You've time to work up a thirst

I have a job in a sector, let's say that my new payroll number starts "00" !

Test driver for Aston's not to be sniffed at.

In all seriousness though EC best wishes in the new role

WOW - You must be psychic - I was just about to search my original thread to provide an update but you did the hard work for me Kaffy.  Thank you for asking.

Well week one over and I must say I am mentally drained. I've had a fair bit to learn and even started doing some useful work from around Tuesday. My boss went through my training plan which lasts 36 months with a lot of courses near and in London.

I'm starting to get a feeling for the important work that my colleagues do and I am looking forward to when I can contribute at their level - but given the amount and length of training needed I think it may be a gradual process.

My mentor is very knowledgable and is being very patient as I ask what I think are quite simple and basic questions.

It's good to be doing something where I want to go to work in the mornings.

I bet he's a tax man. They don't like to advertise the fact do they

No, definitely NOT a tax man.

I will think on how best to describe what I do and get back to you - keep your eyes peeled for my response.
