I really hate fireworks!!!! When I was a kid I remember they were pretty lights in the sky, now it's like living in a war zone with the horrific explosions that make me and the cats a nervous wreck. 2 things come to mind I'd love to see totally banned, fox hunting, and fireworks!!

I hate them, they are selling explosives for gods sake.. in this day & age
should be banned & used for public displays only..so there

I really and truly hate fireworks -always have.So much so that when my girls were growing up their Dad used to take them to firework displays while I cowered indoors with the cats.

If I had my way they would only be allowed in organised displays and I would ban the sale of them to the general public.

I am dreading tonight Hamish is scared of them it does not matter how loud I turn up the telly he can still hear them I hate them,I am dreading Guy Fawes night mainly because of Hamish.

My cat hates them too Marg and it is horrible cos he tries to squash himself into the smallest corner possible..

Isadora it is horrible to watch our pets so scared   I feel more sorry for cats as some can be outdoors when they start up, I wish they would ban them but it will never happen

I am amazed at how cheap they are this year ... a shop by me is promoting 'but one box, get two free'.

I'm guessing they had placed their orders ages ago, and are now frightened that people are cutting back and won't be buying them, and they are going to be left having to store them safely.

Only heard a few so far,it can get loud on bonfire night,but no one right beside me sets them off,no kids.I used to be worried my two house rabbits would be scared of them,but they don't  even twitch a whisker.Not fussed by them at all.
Now outdoor rabbits would be a different thing.
