Has anyone used flickchart before? Its really simple to use, and oddly addictive, its also free to sign up to.

Basically you are giving 2 films to choose from and you pick which one you preferred over the other. If you haven't seen one of the films you click on 'haven't seen it' or if you haven't seen either you click on 'haven't seen either'. These films then get added to your 'Movie List of Shame' (as in films you have not watched).

The interesting part (well for me anyway) is that films that you choose over the other gets added to your Top Films list.  You can see the films, in your Top 20, on the left hand side. At first it may contain films that you liked but wouldn't consider you favourites, but the more you keep voting, the more the lists change and you start noticing your favourite films appearing in your Top 20. IT'S EXCITING STUFF!!!!

So far my Top 20 looks like this:

I reckon you'll get addicted. give it time my deary. You can search for films which you deem as your favourites and then rank them off against loads of others.  There's 'search tool' in the top corner...click it...its the future.
