Avengers Assemble looks good too.

Je suis am open minded !!!

but didn't you say that you go by your opinion and not others when it comes to films?

Plus the film isn't what you might think it is. Your friend may have thought it was a general 'horror' movie....but its a little bit different then that.

Well, I enjoyed The Cabin in the Woods, but one of the Top 10 movies of all time?

Even in the context of the "deconstructed" horror movie, I wouldn't consider it as good as the granddaddy of that sub-genre; "Scream" (which I notice isn't in your Top 10...)

I don't think Scream's appeared for me to vote

Just been to see Avengers Assemble with the OH and kids and it was pretty good.  It was in 3d so that just always makes films better for me but there wasn't as much 3d effect as I've seen in other films.

Kids loved it though and I have to say the OH and I liked it a lot too.

Still not a patch on Transformers though, which I have now realised is my favourite film.

Saw this at pics - rather a good take on the theme i thought

But more of an "intro" to another movie rather than to stand alone as a modern day interpretation.

Is a follow up planned?

Pretty sure there will be another. I've heard it could be a new trilogy.

I liked the whole 'intro' aspect of it all. The only thing that I would say was a negative was the guy that played Malfoy in Harry Potter. Not a very convincing American accent.
