I've been watching it all afternoon Dame. I think it's a mixture of both. According to national geographic website when he finally does take off it could take the balloon up to 3 hours to get him to altitude. (Plus there is a 20 second delay on the live feed, just in case......erm......it goes wrong).
This was him about to launch himself on a practice jump yesterday! (71,500 feet) Today will be 120000 feet.
Live feed starts at 5 Cinds...even if he is mad, he's still extremely brave I want to watch so much, I know I'll want to throw up
As brave as a box of frogs!

He's now finished his descent from his capsule, all 30-40 feet in a lift
My sons are gutted!

What do astronauts do? I would have thought it will be the same set up.
Jump rescheduled for Sunday.

I wish I'd see Jens post about his mother being there before I replied earlier. Because I would have pointed out that due to his mothers attendance she would have insisted he use the toilet before he went on the journey.

Hopefully it'll happen tomorrow although the website is saying the weather on Monday is more favourable.
He's allegedly in his pod ready to go
he's completely & utterly off his rocker... WHY? WHY would you?
MrD is on his side.. he thinks its way cool.. and can't understand why I think he's barking
hahahaha....
I was telling MrD about this thread (ok.. so I was telling him about Pirates step son wanting to see Felix's blood boil), and he suddenly got all excited & said
"where are they watching it live? I want to watch it live"
So I gave him the link...
He's a very happy bunny now

Mr C is soooooo excited about this you'd think I'd fed him some viagara.
84,500 feet
(not related but someone must have switched the speakers on the puter without me knowing and I almost crapped just now when it suddenly coughed and sighed )

Might be your internet connection not allowing the streaming, I don't know.
