I doubt this will happen spider

Maybe if we supply the html and keywords, then it'll be less of a chore for the developers to add it.  I was thinking maybe something like this...

<head>
  <meta name="keywords" content="big brother, bb, bbuk, livecloud, gagajoyjoy, forum, big brother forum, tv, discussion" />
  <meta name="description" content="big brother forum gagajoyjoy" />
</head>

Kaytee: I'm not sure what to tell you. I don't know why it happens on THIS site and not elsewhere for you, and I don't know why it happens to you and not to others.
Lori....I don't know either.....but Stonks told me that she hasn't been able to post videos for months...I have been given an alternative solution, so I'll give it a go and see what happens...thank youxx

This one is for the programming boffins in Seattle.

This relates to the current Flash Player version 10.1.82.76 and to the problems which Kaytee has been having with inserting video clips from Youtube. This is a link to Flash Player Release Notes. These include a long list of known issues which might have some issue on her problem. Having said that, I also use Firefox and have not had her problems.

This may have already been mentioned but....... for the past week I've been having problems when I refresh the page.

When I go into a thread the forum stretches across the whole page. When it does this I know I can't post till I refresh, but it takes me two or three goes to do a successful refresh to get it back to normal so that I can post. It doesn't seem to matter which way I refresh, using the button on the browser, the bookmark link, the permalink, the shortcut etc.

It's always done this on the odd occasion (once a day maybe) but now it is practically constant.  I haven't changed computer or browser or anything else that may have an effect on performance.

I use Firefox, and I'm on Windows XP.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, Baz:

We would never pull a thread because it got too big, and I wouldn't pull that thread because someone was naughty, either (not THAT thread!).

I can't find it either:  can you help me by telling me where it was? Was it under BB or UK Lounge, or what?  I'll have someone figure out where it went, but I need your help, first.
Lori
Lori, if you do a Google search for "Darnell's Bungalow" and select one of the few Gagajoyjoy results, you get a "this page is deleted" message. If you click on the cache version you can see the original page, and according to the cache there were 787 pages and 31469 replies, but that would be out of date  because of being a cache (in fact as of 11 July)

There is also the question - are there other threads which have been deleted, though I suspect this one was the largest.
El Loro
Hi Lori.... It was in the BB forum...... and had reached about 900+ pages. I've looked back and Ducky has done a proper search.... we even looked in the Troll Tank, in case we had a *visitor* But it is nowhere to be seen. Not to worry, we have rebuilt ourselves as a hotel But it was just a bit strange..... We did wonder if Dave had been housekeeping

I should also say that I've reported the issue, but I don't know when it will be taken care of.  So, I recommend you continue to make yourselves comfortable in the Hotel for the time being. *passes out a round of Pimm's and lemonade for all"

So.  I'm here to 'fess up, about the Darnell's Bungalow thread.  Seems I'm (kinda) the reason the thread disappeared, in that the topic-starter asked to be de-regged, and I complied with her request.  Unfortunately, that took all of her content with her.   Had I thought about that more, I might have tried to talk her into leaving without de-regging, so we wouldn't lose the content, but I forgot to put 2 and 2 together just then.

On the bright side, we are putting in a fix so that, when you are de-regged, your content stays here, which is how we always intended it to be.

On another note, Ducky, are you still having those issues?  I"m sorry I didn't respond directly--I missed it in all this other stuff, somehow.  And, is anyone else having the same issue that Ducky is having?
Lori
Thanks for the explanation Lori. Sad story though, I'm going to miss that particular forum member.

As for the technical difficulties..... I'd still having the same problems but they are more intermittent now. It's happening every day at some point, but not for as long as it was. I was kinda desperate when I posted about it because it had become constant, now I'm not fretting as much.

Well, THAT'S good!
If it's now intermittent, I think it might be load-related, and we're still looking into doing things that help with that.  If it becomes constant for you again, will you let me know? Might be easier to send me a dialog, since I think it's Gaga that has most of the load issues.  If I can recreate the issue, it's easier for us to find the culprit.

I was sad to see her go, as well.
Lori
