I noticed that as well Veggie, the last post that I can see is mine about Sammy Lee, but several people have replied since then...
If you make another post though Disley then you can see the last page! The way we got round this problem on the old C4 forum was to click the name of the last poster and it took you to the last post in the thread.

If I click the link you gave me, it takes me straight to the last page (not surprising, since it says page 483 in the link

Thanks Lori. I'm using IE but my pc has been stroppy for ages so that might have a bearing on things!

thanks for the fix yesterday Lori, it seemed to work ok for a while but, although I got into it no problem this morning, I can see several posts from other people complaining about the problem as ongoing.
If it is the length of the thread that is causing the problem, we can start another one but please don't delete the existing thread as we refer back to posts we made earlier in the season quite often. Thanks

There is a problem I have noticed with the new colour scheme. Links are now being shown in a dull brown colour and does not stand out from the black text.
For I have done as a temporary solution is to enclose the link with < > to shown this and I suggest that others do this for the time being.

Signatures Personally don't miss/need them but if they become allowed I'd prefer one line only mentioning who is supported, got fed up with loads of quotes and stuff that took up too much space on Ch.4.
Forum Theme. I got used to the blue but I'm also fine with the present colour, which some see as yellow but I see as a light sand colour, maybe peachy, personally I've no probs with it.

Althought this is not the place to start discussing this, I should point out that in the last week the BBFC (the UK film ceritifcators) have published their annual report which says that they have advised the UK government to legislate so that children are prevented (note prevented which is stricter than protected) from being able to access any material stronger than what can currently be seen on UK television. David Cameron has previously said that he would like to see such legislation so that in due course we can expect considerably greater internet censorship in the UK.

The footie thread is playing up again. It seems to be when we begin a new page that it won't direct you to that page until there are quite a few posts on it, then it's ok until we reach the end of that page and the whole problem starts again.
Don't know if that helps the techies to get a hint on what's ailing the thread!
