In no particular order, labs (black or chocolate but NOT golden), springers, vzslas, weimararners
Shelties are lovely... I fell in love with a Blue Merl (think thats right.. the name for the black/grey/white onces with blue eyes) puppy when I was a girl.... begged my parents for her... but then I begged my parents for every dog, cat, rabbit, mouse, etc etc etc I came across!
Golden Retreiver, Labrador (black, gold or brown), most spaniels, and Weimeraner or however you spell it.

Did any of you watch the tv programme about pedigree breeding? It was shocking, some poor dogs are suffering dreadfully becasue their owners (members 0f the Kennel Club) want them to look a certain way, even though it is affecting their mobility etc. Shocking..makes me think differently about Crufts now

I couldn't watch it Holly - I knew I'd find it too distressing.
I've read things though and it's quite shocking what goes on and just how much the poor dogs can suffer as a result.

Oh Miss S I was bawling...it was so upsetting. When the reporter challenged the boss of crufts he denied everything, despite there being huge evidence and of course the physical evidence of the poor inbred dogs. Just awful.

You would think that the people running Crufts and the bloomin dog owners would care enough about the dogs to stop it
