Just thought we should have a thread to review the achievements.
For me it's this guy. A refugee who we've embraced and who's given back.

Nicola Adams and Laura Trott had winning smiles.
Mo is def one of my faves, what a lovely man
I loved these girls too, what a reaction, I blubbed along with them
Also, Jessica Ennis finishing Olympic champ by a mile in front of the roaring home crowd
There will be so many more, I can't think of at the minute
I can't pick out one single moment really - it's all been great but Saz ^^^^^ those girls in the boat - was wonderful. Catherine Grainger too.
And Chris Hoye blubbing on the podium. So many great moments.
Not the actual athletes, but I did love the images of Chris Hoy's mum as she (sort of) watched him win his final gold medal in the Keirin
And the BBC commentators going absolutely mental for Mo
And how about Usian Bolt celebrating his 100m win by partying til 3am with the Sweedish women's handball team?
I've just been sent this. You've gotta love the Irish - superb commentary
Do watch it'll brighten your morning honestly.

A clear winner in my book. Not so sure about the daft finger thing tho.
And Chris Hoy blubbing on the podium.
^This one for me..........and also:
All the cycling, it was so exciting!
Mo Farah's achievements
Greg Rutherford's long jump
Gemma Gibbons looking up and mouthing "I love you Mum" when she won her medal in Judo
Chad Le Clos just pipping Michael Phelps by a touch in the 200m Butterfly - And Michael Phelps smiling and being genuinely gracious in his defeat that night.
And Andy Murray avenging his Wimbledon defeat in brilliant fashion.
The cycling and the rowing were humdingers and had me on the edge of my seat. Also, the sight of Sir Steve Redgrave ALWAYS there to comfort and support the team at Eton Dorney - especially the 2 lads who ended up with silver and who were beyond exhaustion and so obviously upset.
I loved Usain and the Jamaican relay team; and Go Mo doing the double, Peter Deary setting the pace for the riders at the Velodrome, the boxing and just about anything and everything that happened on the track.
And this made me LOL:
Boris dancing like no one was watching
Never thought I'd say it but Boris has been a blast!
Chad Le Clos just pipping Michael Phelps by a touch in the 200m Butterfly - And Michael Phelps smiling and being genuinely gracious in his defeat that night.
Of course, how could I forget this! Wonderful, exciting moment! I'd also like to give special mention to Le Clos' dad
Oooooooooh too many to mention! But I'll give it a go.
Chad's Dad Mark Foster , the Opening Ceremony, Team GB's bronze (and so nearly silver) in the men's gymnastics, pointing my toes at the diving with Baz, Gaga's Olympic thread, but most of all the Mo Farah's first gold medal..... I've never screamed at the TV so much in all my life!
I'm loved it all, from start to finish!
