goes for a rummage
I never really got the Friends thing when it first was on Summer, but sometimes when I've been off work I've caught some repeats and they have been quite funny I grant you
I'm like you Pamula ... I've only just got into Friends, and The Simpsons, and Gavin and Stacey.
Can't believe I missed all this good stuff
Mine would be too numerous to mention But would have to include ER, Morse, Frost, Doc Martin, and all the Law and Order and CSI series
The mark of a good comedy show IMO is how many times you can watch over and over ...........I watch Friends, Gavin and stacey, Only fools and Horses, Men Behaving Badly, Fawlty Towers ...............and I'm sure there must be loads more .............the Inbetweeners and I could go on and on!
Goes to look for radio show titles....I have one in mind but can't remember the name
I'm watching Celebrity Juice right now and I love it! Gino DC'ampo (however it's spelt) is on....which just makes it even better.
Apart from that I love King of Queens, Friends and lots of panel shows.
don't forget him

See now.....everyone to their own but that style of humour just doesn't appeal to me.

*Clicks* Mind you.....sometimes I thought he was to daft to be funny......along with Norman Wisdom *Hides*
Friends and my fav radio show is Robin Galloway

Aww I love it Nuts Makes me howl! I'm not really into older shows but I do love Only fools! Oh and I always watched re-runs of Fawlty Towers when they were on.....haven't seen them in ages tho!
Oh gawd yes ... Fawlty Towers. That episode where he goes to flick the light switch on and leaves a hand print on that woman's white blouse.
Sheer brilliance
LMAO Erin!

Oh, flippin eck! I'd forgotten about that lot too
Fighting Talk and Danny Bakers show on 5live on a Saturday morning. Danny Baker is bizarre and funny and FT is just hysterical. Also listened to the Clitheroe Kid as a kid
I used to love the radio 2 breakfast show with Terry Wogan, and even more so when he did the hilarious Janet & John.
On TV; Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, NT9oCN, The Young Ones, Father Ted, South Park, Fresh Prince, Family Guy, Friends (although I got into it very late) oddball US stuff like My name is Earl, Taxi, Rhoda
I liked the gentle comedies of the 70's and 80's, such as Ever Decreasing Circles, Butterflies, The Good Life, To The Manor Born, A Fine Romance and The Likely Lads.
Of the more recent ones, I liked Friends and Will and Grace.
My all time favourite has to be As Time Goes By, with the fabulous Judi Dench.
Veggie, I liked Rhoda, too - isn't Julie Kavner (who played Rhoda's sister, Brenda) the voice of Marge Simpson?

She is Yogi and the voice of Marge`s sisters.
I liked Carlton the doorman in Rhoda.

Me too.
"Hello, this is Carlton, your doorman,"
On the telly: So many but The Thick of it; The Smoking Room; Blackadder; Father Ted; Dinnerladies; Spitting Image; Have I Got News for You and Frasier spring to mind. I could never get into Friends - found it too annoying
On the radio: Radio 4 has spawned lots of excellent comedy shows, many of which have been adapted for the telly. I love a bit of satire and 'The Week Ending' was one of my favourites and I also love 'The News Quiz'

He always sounded sozzled. The bizzare things he came out with used to crease me up.
I liked all of your gentle comedies too Yogi.
I loved the BBC radio comedy panel game "I`m sorry I haven`t got a clue" when it was chaired by Humphrey Lyttleton.
