Tara is doing well... but I think she's still too vulnerable. She does the hard act but its all front, so to speak!
After the last episode I have a whole new-found respect for Lafayette!!!

Lafayette has been brilliant from the beginning and I was sure that he was going to wind up dead at the beginning of season 2
Jessica is fun, I hope they keep her story going for a while
She just looks like she's gonna be soooo naughty

Tara is great, but I do worry about who... or what that gorgeous bloke who is charming her is (can't remember his name)... I don't trust him an inch! Maryanne has total control over all and sundry imo.
And of course! Jessica is definitely a wonderful addition to the programme! I love the interaction between her and Bill at the moment... which Sookie has flipped over all ways now!
She's a vamp without knowing it!

We all could say that but....... what makes him so special?
*did I mention a shell suit??*

The guy in the shell suit?
Not read the books then...? As if Eric would be seen dead! Erm...Which bear no semblance to the TV series I might add where Tara and Eggs are white and Jessica does not exist.

Another one not in the books - in that sense. I know what she is but her involvement isn't as much as the TV series has it. Grrrrrrr........Reference:
Jessica is AWESOME!! "Straight male B negative"
I agree with that muf! She is a great vampire comic device at the moment! I spat wine everywhere in that scene at the airport where she is stuck inside her coffin! She is playing the stroppy teenager to perfection.I really enjoyed that episode. But I am finding these orgiastic parties a bit tedious now. It's time they moved this storyline on a bit faster. I'm liking how they have introduced new characters to match Sookie's as telepath and Sam's shape-shifter now though.
muf... I clicked on that link... it took me to a page about The Enterprise... Star Trek, I presume. What are you trying to connect us to?
And finally! Bill is still hotter than Eric, Ditty!

LolJohn Billingsley who plays Mike Spencer also played Dr Phlox in Enterprise
Michelle Forbes also flew on the Enterprise but in the Next Generation
Those pix didn't come out for me either muf... I just got the little blue square thingy!
Again I am none the wiser!
OK... Remind me... Mike Spencer is which character? Michelle Forbes is Maryann, isn't she?

I think he is the towns Quincey type character
Now who'd've thought that Eric was a Viking??

Yeah... I think he's called Andy... the drunk cop?Now tonight we have a brilliant new vampire too! The gun-totin' southern Dallas vampire... who, if I dare say, is a possible contender for best-looking vampire so far!
I still ADORE Jessica and her rebellious teenager stuff with her human boyfriend on their mobiles!
But I have to admit... I'd quite fancy staying in that hotel... it looks rather luxurious and plays perfectly to my night-time proclivities...
Sam is gonna get into deep doo doo, I fear...

Never saw that one coming muf! I'm now waiting to be told what Godric was, considering he's 2000 years old and all! He had an Asian look to him... but why would he be called Godric? Do they change names too? Reference:Xochiquetzal

Apparently it was So if you have a leaning it'd be towards the Viking eh?
muf... I've just realised I'm confused by your topic title. Do I take it to mean Series 1 was shown on C4 so Series 2 will be too, in June?
I missed Series 1 altogether... but bought the DVD box set after I'd read the first book!

Yeah.. I thought that too!I have been relistening to Dead in Dallas in the car.... daughter heard some of it... she was pishing herself laughing at Eric in pink lycra at the end (the sexy party bit)....
she agrees now though.... Eric all the way!
Ditty... can you remind me from Series 1 how Bill is 'made'?
He was a soldier in the civil war... on his way back to his family and he was starving & dehydrating... some bint, claiming to be a widow, took him in & fed & watered him.
She made a pass at him and he politely declined. Then he went to bed and she pounced on him... rumped him & changed him!

She obviously wasn't a true southern belle - shameful behaviour and Muf - yes I'm a Viking lubber

He's also referred to as Godfrey

Now I'm really confused! If he pre-dates Eric the flippin' Viking by 1000 years, then why would he have either names with Christian roots?
perhaps he changed them depending on where he lived decided he liked Godric and kept it I thought he was speaking German on Friday night/Sunday night's episode as I could understand what he was saying but it wasn't totally Germanic
Reference:

No... I really wouldn't! Bill has no sense of humour, is a wimp of the worst kind and is soooo boring!
Not to mention a bit crispy at the end of the last series!
I've just realised Godric or Godfrey needn't necessarily be of Christian roots... the 'god' part could have been used for other all other beliefs too as roots for names, but just Anglicised for our purposes. Maybe he's Saxon then, if it sounded a bit Germanic? Sorry... my early European history/geography is a bit rusty... well, all my history is a bit rusty!
