All my bananas are brown. So sod it I'll have a bowl of pink marshmallows

Good plan... I'm developing a taste for Milky Bars too...

My brother's stepdaughter has lost over eight stone in the past year or so, on her own, no clubs, no nothing.    She's just stopped eating crap and exercises like a demon.   She looks great, but she's depressed because she has so much loose skin and they won't operate because she's about 2 bmi points above the average...

Consider she has put in all the effort you would think that they would do something about the skin for her. There are plenty of people who don't do anything to help themselves. We need to reward those who try surely.

Yep - it really makes me angry (and I bet if they removed the skin her bmi would be 'normal' afterwards)    She's been referred twice and refused twice - and I bet some bimbo saying she's depressed because got small boobs would get a boob job...

but surely if they remove the skin she'll be well under her bmi limit, that's very unfair Kaffy

that's exactly what i say Dame - she's trying to lose another half stone.  She will do it though, I know she will.

thinking about it, it could take her to the lower limit, which seems a bit daft

Someone I know got her saggy baby belly removed because she constantly went to the docs and cried that it was making her depressed!!  She's a size 10 at best and her youngest isn't even 2 yet but they went ahead and did it.  Now she's saying she's ready for another baby 5 months after the surgery

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Ells
