4 of us - me and 3 mates all went out and tried to copy the same look as the girl from the Whitesnake video. Shaggy poodle perms, white lacey dresses and copious amounts of everything from the Rimmel counter.
Not forgetting the white stilettos 
And then we all went off for a holiday in Ibiza and came back looking even more dreadful: 2 girls were redheads, 1 blonde - all got terrible sunburn.
I came home the colour of my mum's mahoganny dining table and looked ridiculous in the dark 'cos all you could see were my teef and the whites of my eyes (true )
We thought we were the bees knees despite it all

You must have been mooching around Petticoat Lane around the time I did! 
I moved on to the near Biba store when my coat stunk too much.
