just been on the news that egg prices are set to rise due to new laws regarding battery cages being introduced.They are much larger than the old ones which are now illegal in the E.U.However 9 countries are ignoring the new law,Britain isn't one of them.

Being vegan I don't use eggs at all but if anyone is worried about humane standards then buy free range from a reputable place

Ever since I saw Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's "Chicken Out" programme, I make sure the eggs I buy are free range.

That seems very very small, not that I have  ever thought about the earth's circumference, but now I've seen it in black and white it just doesn't seem enough

If the girdle is placed so that it is 1 metre above the ground, how much longer does the girdle have to be compared to the circumference of 40,030.2 km?
