You have to admit Aimee... you are pretty legendary in that department

I think you are right to be suspicious that certain political arguments politicians like to be being seen to have, others they deflect and avoid debate about if at all possible.

I suspected the Scottish issue was being used as a diversion to avoid British public scrutiny when David Cameron visited Saudi Arabia to sell the Saudis arms etc. while those same Saudis are funding terrorism which is killing British soldiers in Afghanistan and threatening our civilians throughout the world.

This is a 3 part video.

  • 1) A Labour MP complaining about Cameron going to Saudi Arabia
  • 2) A US TV news story about the Saudis not prosecuting any Saudi subject who funds terrorism
  • 3) My comment on Cameron raising a dispute with the SNP just at the time he left for Saudi Arabia.

Scary stuff Kaffy

Yup - if ever there was an advert for remaining part of the UK...    I'm happy to be Scottish, but I can't stand all that 'scotland the brave' hate the english crap (that's why vids p'd me off )

Well I love the English, the women especially  though I have my political disagreements with royalists wherever they are from, I am more inconvenienced and irritated by the Scottish royalists who ruin the Scottish government than I am by royalists from anywhere outside Scotland.

So I wonder when you write  "hate the english crap (that's why vids p'd me off )" in reply to posts which seem to be discussing my website, where on earth did you ever think you saw a video of mine which was in any way remotely "hate the english crap"?

For example, I posted a video above of Condoleezza Rice visiting Liverpool and North-West England, set to music by the Beatles, an English pop group.

So where you get "hate the english crap (that's why vids p'd me off )"

is a mystery to me?

I have dozens of "hate the Queen" videos but not one "hate the English" video, so come on, what's all this?

Ah, my mistake. I thought when KaffyBaffy posted "vids pissed me off" it was a reference to my videos. I though "vids" was meant as shorthand for "videos".

Now, looking at earlier posts, I see there is user here called "Videostar".

So KaffyBaffy, who exactly is responsible for the "hate the english crap" content to which you refer in your post? The user Videostar? Does Videostar post anti-English content then?

And why did you mention "hate the english crap" in reply to posts between yourself and Cagney, about my website?

I still feel that your "hate the english crap"  comment is not explained. Which? Whose? Where? When?

And why bring it up when my website is being mentioned? There is still a bit of a mystery for me.

Is there anyone at all here who'd rather be lazy and assume my politics maybe just might be "anti-English" or "hate the English" rather than take the time to read my website?

Thanks for the welcome. If we are discussing body-shapes, here's my requirements for waist and hip measurements in women.

Waist-to-hips ratio

This table describes my preferred maximum waists and the corresponding minimum hips dimensions in a woman. If a woman's hips are at least 1.25 times as big as her waist when we first meet then fine.

As an example, consider the measurements of a woman who had a waist of around 29 inches (74cm) and hips of around 39 inches (99cm). That would be great because 39 divided by 29 equals 1.34 which is easily bigger than 1.25.

Before meeting the right one that leads to a long and happy relationship men and women can have an ideal of what they're looking for. Attraction and chemistry is important as is compatability, when the right one comes along they may not always fit the pre - desired expectation or hope but what is more important? Maybe don't set up too many "specifics" of what you require in case you miss out on who is right for you and for you to be right for her

Let me cut to the chase Petey Boy.

I know I'm just contributing to your soon-to-be self published book about how you were able to create a riot about your obviously lame but what you think hilarious meme. I expect you to pay me for quoting me now. I have a very good lawyer friend who I was at school with. And obviously I know how to contact you.

Well I have done a lot of missing out in my life.

The issue is that a previous woman I hooked up with via the internet didn't work out, because there were incompatibilities which didn't come to light until some time after we met in the flesh. She had to travel a long way to find that out, so it was a huge disappointment for both of us when it all fell through.

So I think it is better to publish all my characteristics in plain English so as not to waste anyone's time, lead anyone on, to no good outcome for both of us.

I explain on my single and looking page that I am on welfare, so I don't earn and I don't pay. I am only quoting you here in this forum, like right now, and that's free.

The single and looking page is what it is. It's not an "idea for a book".

Do people here follow links?

Not for you maybe but there's some wonderful material there for an aspiring writer. What a fantastic 'fictitious character' you'd make - you really are an inspiration. Cheers

In other words, you need to keep your options wide open, Peter.  No, you really do!

And seeing how this thread has veered from the subject of possible Anglo/Scot tensions into a 'Would Like to Meet' thread, I'd like to say this and take it even more off topic

Yellow Rose, a while ago I read your posts in the thread where Pirate lost his lovely Mum.  Your words were beautiful and genuinely moved me  Not least because of the terminal illness of someone very, very close to me right now......his end is coming too, and I have noted down your words. I know that I will almost certainly be paraphrasing them before this year is over.  Thank you x

Welcome too Mrs. Darling. I think a meme is a shared cultural phenomenon (or some high falutin somesuch).

Thanks for the welcome, Suzybean And thanks for clearing that up for me

(I'm just being polite, by the way - I'm still none the wiser......  It seems clear to me that both parties are very unlikely to share anything - cultural or....carnal )

That's very interesting. I liked the other video you posted too. Don't agree with all your views but more power to you!

Yes, I think that's highly unlikely, even if a tape measure was appropriated for the waist-hips ratio calculation

Don't know about you, but my waist/hip ratio seems about right for Peter's exacting standards.  But we better not fluster the poor lad, eh?

You're a very comical member here, Suzybean  I hope I get to enjoy  chewin' the cud with you some more

Well I agree enthusiastically with that priority for suitable women readers  but I would suggest if ladies like what they see then it is appropriate to contact me privately. It's not my intention to derail or troll this topic / thread.

Private ways to contact me are mentioned on my single and looking page, and I note there is a "Dialogue" private messaging facility here which might be another option.

I'll make the sausage rolls.

Now now, don't be sabotaging some potentially perfect ratios there!

I fear that particular horse has already bolted, Peter....

Do you honestly believe the thread can easily get back on topic now?  Your love life (or lack of it right now) is much more attention-grabbing.  Don't get your kilt all ruched up about digressing - just go with the flow, and see what transpires
