Liam McAllister, played by Chris Overton, first appeared 20 October 2010 as Jem Costello's ex-boyfriend.The character was mentioned several times before his appearance. Liam was a footballer, who went out with Jem. His football career ended after Jem's father Carl Costello broke Liam's leg for going out with her.
Liam arrives in Hollyoaks, where he spies on Jem's brothers, Riley and Seth. Jem and Liam go on a date, and Jem explains why she left him. Liam then invites Riley and Seth to a cage fighting party, where Liam is fighting. At the party, Liam and older brother Nathan plot their revenge on the Costellos. At a house party later in the night, Liam drowns Seth in a jacuzzi. However, he survives. Meanwhile, Riley is drugged. Nathan locks Seth and Riley in a cage and forces them to fight, as Carl is tied up by a noose. Seth and Riley reluctantly fight each other. However, Nathan's girlfriend Sami enters and frees them. Seth, Riley and Carl leave and run through woods. Liam and Nathan follow with a gun, which Carl later gets hold of. After the Costellos escape again, Nathan and Liam find them on a rooftop. Liam pleads with Nathan to leave them, but he does not listen, and is attacked by Seth. Nathan is knocked over the edge, holding onto a pole of the scaffolding. Liam and Riley attempt to rescue him. However, Carl stops Riley from going near the edge. Nathan tells Liam to let go, which he does. Liam rushes down below, where Nathan lies in a oil tank. As Liam drains the oil away, he discovers that Nathan fell onto several poles and has been fatally injured. As the ambulance services arrive, Liam is led away by police. It is then later revealed that Nathan had died from his injuries and that Liam has attended his funeral. Liam returned to the village and getting back together with Jem. This infuriated Carl and Liam blames him for Nathan's death, but Carl said saving him was a risk for Riley. So when Liam made more accusations, Carl threatens that he will deliberately break his other leg.
3) It's not Jacqui Dixon, Alex Fletcher who played her is actually Diane O'Connor in the show.. a woman who is desperate to be a mother. She has two step children called Finn and Sinead by the school headteacher Rob. Diane had unsuccessful attempts at IVF before arriving in Hollyoaks and when she arrived tried to get pregnant but did a test which was negative. Diane then was devestated but her two step children got angry thinking that she didn't want them and they made up.. then Diane found a baby boy abondoned near a local hospital and took it home to her families horror, they tried to convince her to give the baby (who she called George) back but she refused which then lead her stepdaughter to get Lynsey, the local Irish nurse at the hospital involved.
Lynsey tells Diane that she is taking the baby back to the hospital, but Diane refuses and pushes her outside, locking the door behind her. Lynsey then threatens to call the police if Diane does not cooperate. Whilst Diane and Lynsey argue Finn takes the baby and tries to take it back to the hospital with Amber Sharpe (Lydia Lloyd-Henry), until they are stopped by Anita Roy (Saira Choudhry) and Eva Strong (Sheree Murphy). Anita and Eva then take the baby back to the O'Connor household. A relieved Diane realises her actions and Lynsey returns the baby to the hospital
