Yes I see what you mean Suzi and to a degree have to agree this is the case in some instances....I can confirm though it is not the case for me in fact Orlaith Mc Allister drove me to distraction as did Spoiral closely followed by Seany.....Perhaps I tend to go more for the underdog hence me supporting Freddy and yes the nastiness directed towards Noirin has made me support her also and actually in a few cases here her nationality if anything is a disadvantage...All so darn silly imo but folk can be fickle that's for sure.
It's not so much her nationality, for me, but the people who support her BECAUSE of her nationality. I'm sure you have witnessed the same thing - Orlaith, who did nothing but play with her boobs, threatened to walk with every breath, was saved against Science only to walk out the next day.
My point is that for some people it is all down to national origin for some people. It doesn't matter how boring that person is, or how horrible the peron is, it will come down to national origin.

I'm usually one of the first to support the underdog, but I really fail to see what personality traits that Noirin has to make her a contender. From what I have seen, from the highlights, she really hasn't made that much of an impression. If it weren't for Sree, she would have faded into the wall - unless she did her "party trick".
