What is gamine?

Audrey Hepburn was the definition of gamine imo. 

Audrey was beautiful, but she has short hair and Gina long. I may be a bit thick here but I don't understand.

Gamine is what they call the short cropped hairstyle that Audrey had. Col was suggesting that Gina might suit a similar style.

Cologne's post was to the effect that Gina didn't need the hairstyle she has and that she could carry off a gamine look. I think. 

That's right Yogi, I was asking what Gamine was. Is it just short hair? Can't see how Gina is a gamine with long hair. My head hurts.
