I'm from Salford, not Bolton by the way
They are all from my town, not my city my town. Are you from L/H?
Add Shaun Ryder to the list, they are all from round the corner, literally.
Dermot O'Leary comes from my village (his parents are still here)
And the town my village borders onto claims Blur as its claim to fame (loads of my friends went to school with Damon Alburn)
Prior to living in the south.. I grew up in the North... and I think Marc Almond and Black Lace are the only people that I can remember coming from Leeds!

I wouldn't have believed the first pic for a mo'.
Your pic's great tho' seriously, you look a proper 'hippy biker' - 'hairy biker' even. Now they're also cool imo! I do sort of resemble my avatar, an eccentric female, 51 yr old blonde. I was always referred to as a 'hippy' too as I'm veggie and used to wear really long skirts. I now go for the 'per una' at M&S look these days.

I definitely won't be asking for a go of your bike as I can't imagine how you stay on those things! My hubby makes parts (hand made for Harley's etc as his boss owns a loads of vintage/veteran/Harleys etc, he is known by the main manufacturers too if they can't replicate parts my hubby will!)
I was never a 'hippy' either! Plus people, including my hubby believe I like the colour purple? I don't, I like black/dusky pinks. As for my user name, I didn't think about it when joining, but everyone calls me 'Ger' or 'Geri'.
