Ok this is a weird one, I live and breath facebook (don't have much of a life) and I like to change my status as often as I can and last night I put up that I was watching big bang theory, watch the show every week and love it. A so called mate put up this reply. Ok sweet we get the hint dont need to know everytime u watch it I am wondering if u saw someone put up what they r watching every week would u put that reply?

How often do you update your status, any more than once or twice a day is a bit excessive (I only update mine once a week or so)
People don't really need to know the ins and outs of everything, like how often you have a wee or eat a biscuit.

I am thinking about it I told a work mate about it today and they said post it everytime 
I don't post my status very often, usually just a Good morning/afternoon etc.
the status is the best bit, i like seeing what everyone is doing / saying

all depends on what mood I am in like I have just changed it to I am cold as I am. I don't put every detail down (a mate does though)

I wouldn't worry about it, they can always hide it if they don't like it.
I'm not sure why your friend was being so snotty, he can always block your updates without blocking you as a friend. I only update a few times a week though tbh. Maybe you'd be better off on Twitter if you update a lot?
i don't have facebook so don't know if there is an etiquette, however i wouldn't put a comment like that, it's up to you isn't it what you want to say and how often?

are you being a bit uber sensitive about it? the guy was prob joking, either post and be damned or if you are goin to worry about it then only allow a few folk to see yr status. I honestly wouldn't bother about it. If it's public then not everyone is going to like everything.
