Yes they got me aswell......I'd had that account for years, I'm trying to find everyone but some have their settings so's I can't send requests, so if you see someone like me on a friends list add me....

TBH, when I skimmed through the CBB FB page, I was surprised at the number of nicknames being used because I'd been under the impression for a while that it was policy on F*c*book (and some other social network sites) that you must use your real name.

I suppose the problem is policing that: it's unrealistic going through all members, so they'll probably only check someone who's been reported for misuse...

I never used that account on the ch5 FB page and the one I did use is still active....

Do you think it's a security thing Stonks? To be honest I don't blame them with all the crap going on lately but surely they can read and see who's causing trouble and who isn't

I accept that maybe they didnt like the first part of my name but like wise they could have contacted and given me the same chance to change it the same as they did to another friend - she got suspended this morning and two chances to change it to something correct [ how would they know] that is my main gripe that some of us wernt given warning and others were ??

They did that to me and most of the old C4 people who had regged under our forum names a few years back.

Gawd knows Cags, I've had that FB account for about 5 yrs now....

No I was'nt given the chance either and that really gets my back up....

I wonder if the latest purge is anything to do with tracking down rioters or agitators etc. I'm not sure how easy it is for them to suss out a fake name if it sounds plausible

Does anyone have Annoca on their FB list?  One of my friends posted a Virus Warning a few minutes ago and I noticed the same thing last night supposedly coming from Annoca.  I think she's gone from my friends list.  Can someone PM me her real name so I can check for sure.

What I saw last night had an FB type picture attached to the comment.  Can't explain this very well but I have an awful feeling it had Stonks' picture in it. 

Someone on there is performing a cleansing operation. One hacking site have said they will bring FB down on the 5th Nov- the day Guy Fawkes tried to destroy the Houses of Parliament Be careful, but keep up the spam for LF on C5 sites as they need to know we need LF for a true BB experience. .

Yes Veggie there was a lot of talk yesterday on the radio about the changes FB are planning on making.  I didn't hear anything about the name things but they are planning a few changes to help cut bullying.  I think we will be asked to approve comments before they are posted on our walls and/or status.  We'll also be asked wether someone can tag a photo of us which is just the best news ever coz my friend has a habit of tagging pics of me and no matter how many times I untag she just tags again
