I know . Im just sooooo happy my Schumi is back. even in such horrible circumstances . Get well soon Felipe...
And now I havent even got Schumi... Massas hurt, Piquets been fired... klien cant get a drive anywhere... this sport is slowly losing its appeal.
I never fully understood their thinkimg for getting rid of Kleien.
No, me neither. He was cute and funny and talented. They based it on "who got the most points" they didnt even consider Kliens lost podium um Monaco, He would have finished 3rd but the car broke down.
A lot of Klien's supposed underperformance, I felt, came down to lack of reliability of the car, not lack of ability by him. I thought he had plenty of ability.
Similar thing happened with Massa, if you remember, especially wwhen he first went to Ferarri. Many people were clamouring for him to be sacked and saying he 'didn't DESERVE' to be at Ferarri.
Freak accident withstanding, look at him now!
And I bet half those people who were baying for his blood are all simpering and saying how wonderful he is.

Getting onto today's action.
I think Q2 was actually the deciding factor for the final line up. A phenomenal improvement by Force India also helped shake things up, even though only one of their cars got through to Q3.

Poor Fisichella, he'd have won that race if it hadn't been for the Safety Car being deployed.
i know. It would have been jus brilliant if he had won .
Felipe has to have a minor operation on his cranium, then he can start full training again . Ferrari are saying he wont be back until next year though.

Renault are set to sue the Piquets over their claims of race fixing.
From what I can gather it seems that Piquet Jr claims that he was told to crash in The Singapore GP to fcilitate Alonso winning it.
Renault, of course, deny any such skullduggery.
Now it may well turn out to be true, but I have to admit that the timing of this does smack a bit of sour grapes.

Yes, that's what it seems like to me too Fluffs
Are we all set for the qualifying?
Well, surprise surprise. Fisichella's driving for Ferrari today. Apparently Kubica was considered for the Ferrari drive, but it was too awkward to release him from his current contract.
Is Fisichella retiring at the end of this season? There was talk of him FINISHING HIS CAREER at Ferrari.

At least Fisichella in his debut for Ferrari is going to be in Q2 as a minimum.
I really don't understand why the commentators make such a big deal of where they finish in the top 10 after Q1 and Q2. As those positions have no direct bearing on their final grid positions.

Hamilton doesn't make the best of starts, but manages to remain P1.
Webber crashes out a few corners later.
Kubica's doing quite well but he hit Webber and has a bit of his wing hanging incorrectly - there's a questionmark over Kubica.
Vettel's struggling.
The brawns are well placed.
Raikkonen's up.
Fisichella's up a few places also.

P.S. Rosberg didn't retire, but is running last.
Hamilton crashes on last lap, so he doesn't finish and gets no points, but Vettel now gets one.
They actually deployed the safety car which meant that, at the last, Sutil wasn't allowed to pass Raikkonen which he MIGHT otherwise have done.

Thanks Fluffy for your commentary. I missed most of the race on television as I was visiting my mother in hospital.
You're Welcome. Hope your mum's not too serious.
