Race due to start in about 10 minutes.
Highlights for Italy!
Singapore live on channel 4 this weekend.
22 minutes to go until the start of Q1......and Ferarri are putting a new floor on Vettel's car! Webber says it should take about 20 minutes.
It's shit since they went down V6's
F1 i'll no work out. They need srxeaming V12's,
Apparently there'll be engine rule changes for next year.

And aero changes to help cars follow closer in turbulent air
PEREZ obviously deciding his tolerance of a faster OCON doesn't need to continue now OCON is out of F1
A deliberate shove into the barrier
. . . and then against SIROTKIN - a dangerous collision
You can (possibly) forgive a 'Red Mist' moment, now and again, but two 'Red Mist' moments in the same race...........?

"I didn't see him"
Even DC confessed a doubt. The two don't get along.
Perez was last most of the race - so it didn't help
Perez is a hothead like Senna was, and Verstappen is and Schumacher was.
I'm not saying anything about being great drivers or not but Schumacher cheated a lot any way
It's odd who you take a like and dislike to . . .
Don't like Verstappen, Hamilton, Perez, Vetttel
Really like Ricciardo, Grosjean, Ericsson, Magnusson, Kimmi, Hulkenberg and Leclerc
Qualifying highlights programme at 4:30 pm. So car action probably from 5 pm
KYVIAT back driving for Toro Rosso next year

Apparently he has matured according to the Torro Rosso guy who fired him......and has now re-hired him!!!!!

But under the circumstances it was the right thing to do. If the boot had been on the foot and Valtieri was in the running for the championship Hami would've moved over
and you don't think it's never happened before or Ferarri wouldn't have done the same for Vettel Ferarri's done it loads of times, Bottas needs to be more consistent, but I said that last year and he never improved.
And I heard they'd all talked about it before the race anyway, about what to do if that situation arose
Nowt controversial about it, it's gone on since racing began...it's only controversial if you man didn't win

Quite right many teams have done it before but that doesnât make it right IMO *shrugs...
Tell you what was controversial. Vettel getting away with moving his line twice in the braking zone... But Hammy's sweet move on the next bend put pay to Vettlel's shenanigans

I agree with you. but if it's stopped it needs to be stopped for every team

but they all do it Moonie, if it had been Ferrari it still wouldn't be right or wrong...it's team racing

So what is the point in Bottas qualifying in pole position and in the lead in the race them being told to move over to let Hamilton through Dameee?

Because it's a team game
Bottas hasn't got any chance of winning the championship. Hami has

Because they will get the double, world championship and constructors and Bottas doesn't have a hope in hell of winning It's always happened and many times drivers have moved over for Vettel when he won his titles. I honestly don't know what the fuss is about, it's happened time and time again and there is no way to stop teams using it to be honest. I can bet you Ferrari would have ordered Raikkonen to move over if he'd been in front of Vettel

What was controvertial here was not the letting Hamilton go ahead in the first place, but the not letting Bottas back ahead of Hamilton once they were both far enough ahead of Vettel for him not to be a threat.
1st and 2nd for the team is still 1st and 2nd, regardless of which driver was in which position.........and Hamilton's lead over Vettel was not really going to be significantly dented by being 2nd and 3rd instead of 1st and 3rd.
Bottas certainly thought they were going to switch back now that they were both well ahead of Vettel.
More points for coming first though, in case anything should happen in the last few races, and it comes down to the points margin

Bottas knew th situation before the race and said so himself...nothing controversial about it unless it Hamilton of course.
I can't see anything controversial in the same tactics any other team would have used..
I doubt that the 7 points difference would be enough to counter that 'anything'.

He's had all year to prove himself in one of the best cars on the track and done sweet FA, he's always going to be a wing man if he doesn't up his game. You surely can't blame Wolfe for wanting a bigger gap! Me personally if it had been Ferrari I would have expected the same and accepted it, that's how a team works.

Team thing I understand, by why then did Bottas think they were going to change back? If a re-swap wasn't part of the strategy plan then why the radio message saying they weren't re-swapping and that they'd talk later and explain? That (to me) sounds very much like a change of plan that HADN'T been part of the original discussion!
