Can someone please explain to me - in very simple terms which even an innocent like me would understand - how it is that Dave remains in the BB house?
Why is my intense dislike and disdain for this man not shared by other housemates and then by voters?
Am I missing something? I have yet to detect his nice side.
I simply cannot understand why he is still in the house. It truly staggers me.

Every now and then I like watching Dave.  A recent example would be when John James attempted to start an argument with Dave regarding his gruel task.  I think John James assumed Dave would become the "new Ben" and be able to push him around, but what he found was that Dave very calmly and politely wiped the floor with him.

If Dave can continue putting old Crab Eyes in his place then I will be happy for him to stay in the house.

I caught up with my 18 year old son on the phone yesterday; I haven't spoken to him in around 2 weeks. We chit chatted about the usual, this and that and then the conversation moved onto BB (as it was eviction night) and who was up for eviction and who we each wanted to go.

I let him go first and was gob smacked when he said he wanted Dave to stay and possibly win!  Somehow I managed to keep my mouth shut while he explained why it was he liked him. He said he thought Dave was funny and kind. Said he liked his accent and the way he laughed.

Well, being his Mother I felt it my responsibility to inform him of the Dave I know about and how him winning 100k was not in anyone’s best interest. I am of course referring to the YouTube videos and his not so Christian ways.

My Son could not believe it, he was gobsmacked! He also said he was going to make sure all his friends knew about this as he said they thought the same as he did.

The one most important fact about this post is that my Son doesn’t have access to live feed; he only has the highlight show to go by. BB and their editing are responsible for him still being there.

It strikes me as unfair to not portray housemates as they truly are. Blatantly wrong. Dave's deviousness and duplicity are not isolated either. It is typical of his behaviour, and the least we should expect from the programme makers is a true reflection of it.

I absolutely agree brisket. It should totally be a must to show the Hm's in a true reflection of their typical behaviour. Dave's typical traits being back stabbing, snideness, sarcasm, hypocrisy and generally false on the whole.

But to try and answer the Q, I think it is favourable editing that is keeping him in there as well. All that drunk on the lord malarky, drunk on the lord my 'arris. If we could all get drunk for free like that the churches would be busier than a council house waiting list.

It's only the investigations into his 'cause' from the public and his activities to support it that have highlighted what a fraud he is. I think it's about time that wheelchair video was either shown or brought up again by the legend that is the Pepper

Cos he's a nutter and the british like their nutters.

I think he's a complete tit, not on the planet, and don't want him to win, but I have to say that, for me,  he is the best person to do silly pics of this year

His cult following.

David has revealed that he had told several hundred people that he might be entering the Big Brother house prior to the series' launch night.

As Mario gave him a back massage, the minister explained that his birthday party had taken place a week before the contestants entered lock-down. He admitted to Andrew that he had told around 200 people present at the bash about his selection for the final 81 contestants.

Andrew and Mario laughed as David continued: "That's not the half of it. One of my friends told an entire conference in America that the Lord had spoken to me and I was entering the Big Brother house.

"All in all I reckon a couple of thousand people knew. I told 200, he told 500 - there could easily have been 5,000 people that knew I was coming in."

He went on to say that he had told people in the street and around his town that he was going to be on the show, and that people began putting threads on Facebook about it.

As Corin entered the room, Mario related David's story to her. "Were you not scared of not getting in?" she asked, shocked.

David admitted: "Yeah there was a point where I thought I might have told too many people. But I'm here!"
