..do they work? I was thinking of getting one to bounce up and down on while I watch TV...are they any good or should I save my cash?

I was given a birthing ball which I keep meaning to get out and use. I never excercised on it but it was brilliant for my backache, I just used to sit in it to watch tv.
I thought this was an instruction. 
They work if you really lock your core muscles when sitting on it, otherwise you just have a comfy seat haha

It's got to be worth the investment just for all the potential fun/embarrassment of falling off it.......and coming to tell us about it of course. (preferably with video footage) 
TKMAXX WERE SELLING THEM ABOUT 5YEARS AGO.I haven't seen any around since then.I toyed with getting one,then thought better of it.Maybe I should have.

i bought one to help me with birthing and something to sit on comfortably...the only thing it's really been used to is for my eldest to bounce it round the room...so i put it away for ...er....safety reasons
I have one ,it's in the garage along with all the other excercise equipment I have purchased over the years,much easier to go to the gym.

I had one when I was pregnant to help the baby move down to be ready.
