His core problem is not really one of sexism, although sexist he definitely is, it's of being a stupid, childish twat.
The reason his lewd comments get on women's nerves in particular, is that blokes like Marcus think it's extremely funny and witty to use them,....but when you're a girl/woman who has heard the same joke repeatedly, week after week from little adolescent boys and/or the sexually inadequate, it tends to lose its humour somewhat.
...and don't give me the "he's a rebel" spiel....he's just another silly sheep who gets his definition of how to behave "manly" from silly american action films and comic books.....he impresses no one except those trapped in some juvenile fantasy land
