She has had nothing to do with him for 7 years since he was 15.

There has to be some bloody good reason for someone to cut their MOTHER out of their life.  This woman claims none of the rift is HER fault.  The boy was FIFTEEN when the rift occurred FFS.  A CHILD.  Why did she not make more effort to heal this rift?  SHE was the adult.  He was the child.

And isn't it funny how she is only wanting contact with her son again, and has written a 'heartfelt' letter to him, now he is worth £45 million!

Silly cow.  You burnt your bridges with your son seven years ago and he doesn't want to know you.  Get over it, and stop making a fool of yourself by selling your story to the SUN, in the hope you can make some money and make people feel sorry for you.  It won't work.  You just look like a desperate publicity-hungry bitch, who wants to get some of your estranged son's fortune.

This happens quite often doesn't it?  Puts me in mind of a couple of extended family members of mine, (who have barely EVER said a word to me unless they wanted to criticize me or slag off my partner.) They acted  like I was their BFF when I got £7K redundancy from a job in the early 1990s.  Both of them AND a second cousin of mine (who also hardly spoke to me,) decided they 'needed some money.'

Same happened in the mid 80s, when I got redundancy of 2 grand.  They acted all nice to me then too.  I foolishly lent them money then, and never got it back, and when I refused to lend it in the 1990s, 7 years later, (when I got the 7 grand,) they wouldn't speak to me for months, and even now, rarely speak to me.  How people can be like this, just baffles me.  Only bothering with people when the think they can get something from them.  bastards.

Dirtyprettygirlthing

It kind of reminds me of this poem

This Be the Verse

BY PHILIP LARKIN

They f**k you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were f**ked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another’s throats.

Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don’t have any kids yourself.

Perhaps she pretended he was disabled to claim benefits?
