That ad with the child putting her hand made decoration takes me back to five year old Miss Kaytee....her effort was supposed to be the Virgin Mary....it's still in the loft, but at the time she was renamed Chernobyl Mary...for fairly obvious reasonsπŸ˜‚

 Aww!

It went on the tree.....hidden round the backπŸ˜‚

We had a couple of (loo roll inner) Santas and angels

Now we have the grandkids efforts, including a Christmas hedgehog

Mary was based on a loo roll too....funny how we keep them and gain moreπŸ˜‚

I still put up my kids toilet roll Santa’s every year ....they are battered and bruised....but not bad for over 40 years old

I've only got a little tree these days....mainly lights and tiny baubles....the big stuff is in the loft, neither of us fancy dragging it all down and putting it upπŸ˜‚

🀣🀣ours were decamped to the study several years ago for the sMe reason .....all I have to do now is slide the box down the stairs

Last week, hubby was kidding the grandkids that we were going to put up our tree and decs on our own. PB was horrified and said, β€œBut we ALWAYS do the tree with Granny!” and BB piped up, β€œAnd Grandad lifts us up to put the angel on!”.

omg hope they test them for cooking temperature

I never do that....stick a fork right in and if the juices run clear then it's done

do have a probe but have done that as well - I'm a bit paranoid with poultry

Me too, Ros.
We get enough dodgy tummies without eating undercooked chicken
