Stephen is a preacher in the US.... He should keep it for his homeland and not here. The Lord has helped him a lot---- being approx $ 1.4 million dollars in the red. Back taxes etc; and turning down lucrative film roles coz of the content.

To be fair - Stephen had him cornered and kind of tricked him into it from what I saw. He could have looked churlish if he hadn't gone along with it - about halfway through when it dawned on him what was going on he did seem extremely uncomfortable. Stephen was really and truly well out of order putting him into that situation IMO.

Alex seems to have low self esteem, so is prime for manipulation...Just the way control freaks like Jordan like them...Stephen is nuts and probably thinks he's "saving" Alex.

Alex was cornered and probably just didn't want to be rude by telling Stephen to p*ss off.

Stephen and Vinnie are going on at Alex so much that I really do feel sorry for Alex.
They are constantly wanting to know details of his private life (especially vinnie) where as Alex is way too polite to question them half as much.

Yeah, he looked well and truly ambushed, a very devious way to attempt a conversion. Of course Stephen will have gone to sleep thinking he had won over another soul, so I reckon that whole episode was more for Stephen's spiritual benefit (and ego) than Alex.

If that had been any of you guys though, would you have made your excuses and left, would you have just politely listened like he did or would you have started to question him?

Thinking about it I dunno what I would have done either if put in that position, although whether it was televised or not wouldnt have bothered me. If I felt to make my excuses and leave I would have done, wouldn't have stayed just to please or impress and audience (if that's what Alex was doing).

Total hypocrisy from Stephen. Earlier that day, he was berating Alex for not knowing his own mind, falling into situations he shouldn't etc.

Then, of course, he had a lightbulb moment of his own and realised he was in the presence of a weaker person that he could influence and indoctrinate.
