Funny guy. Natural.
As you say, the real deal. Continued to work right to the end - after taking curtain calls after his last performance (at the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury) collapsed in the wings from another heart attack and died shortly afterwards at the hospital in Cheltenham. The Roses Theatre named their conference room after him as their tribute.

One of the best.
He had talent
Overated. Alright but horrendously overated by the nostalgia industry. Give me Vic and Bob every time. Far funnier and with vastly more scope.
