And you know what?....It was very good.

I'm not a big fan of the HP films. I enjoyed the books immensely, not to the degree of being a deluded fan, but always anticipated the release of the next one to stick me nose into.

However the films are a different matter, I've always found them very patronising (kids of today can't be that stupid surely?) and the acting of the 3 main characters Harry, Hermonie and Ron were always pretty poor. Daniel would always have the same 'grimacy' face, Emma would always do that 'eyebrow thing' and Rupert would constantly look constipated.

This is not the case with this film. All 3 put in really good performances, Daniel still not as stellar but it was an improvement. But what I really enjoyed about it was how faithful it was to the book. In my eyes all the Potter films should have been split into 2 that way they wouldn't have missed out some pretty important plot points that the original films sadly do.

So my verdict is '4 Rawky Hugs out of 5'. Its gripping, exciting and leaves it on a great cliff hanger. Worth a watch

I read all the books... always found the films miss key scenes/parts. Annoyed me aswell how they don't involve some characters in the film. I not watched it yet, prob will do soon... im hoping its better than the last few. The last two were crap.

I always thought the first movie was the best they made, didnt miss half the book and got everything in there. I suppose its a good sign that they split it into two parts rather than try and fit it all in. You could see thats exactly what they did in the past and thats why it turned out so sh*t.
