Does anyone else really, really dislike her and as a result dislike Pride and Prejudice, or do you think she's a truly wonderful example of a human being?

Irritating!
Gordon's sister ?
On behalf of my 16 year old... currently doing this book in her English GCSE.. i can confirm she strongly dislikes Lizzie (even though her teacher has told her that is wrong... it is correct to love Lizzie)
Keira Knightley's performance in the 2005 film was terrible in my opinion
Irritating

It's OK, I nabbed him back and have been keeping him warm for you.
I dont' think you're supposed to like her, just recognise her flaws which are pride and prejudice, same as old Darcy. Now HE's a right twonk.
But that Jane Eyre, eeeeeh she gets me every time.
