The music they used is very emotive for me with a lot of unhappy memories attached to it...

I think we need to accept it for what it was and it was typical of the powers that be to do this...

cockney chick....I was saying how much I didnt like the first part of the show one bit....all the funereal stuff and music and words....in fact I hated it!

is the one thing we've all got in common not that we will all die and don't we all lose people? It's a result of life, so I don't see it's a travesty at all and yes yes I've lost people close to me.

Its atelly programme and I will be very sad to see it go partly or mainly because of the forums and the peeps Ive got to sor

Well I agree, and you put it into words better than I could.  I really couldn't see a problem at all with it, as virtually everyone has lost someone and experienced at least one funeral: me included. I have experienced many bereavements and about 10 funerals, and I didn't see any 'travesty' in it.  Still, if others got botherd/upset by it, then that is their right I guess.  I just didn't see any problem with it at all.

Soz about last post had to shout at my teenagers for nicking my chair,hiding laptop and being bloody teenagers!

Im over it but at the time I found it really distasteful, ffs its a tv show with loads of people working on it who come up with stuff like the TOT and all they can think of is a mawkish rehash of a funeral.

Whatever Ive watched for 11 years,obsessed and Im sad and Im going to miss it but most of all Im going to miss talking about it with you guys and sharing a sense of the ridiculous (which you dont get on DS) and just wanted a more upbeat start.
