I'm thinking of buying one, how much should I pay, where's the best place to get one without getting ripped off and are they really worth them, oh yea and what's a decent make?

Well I do like them Poolshark..... but I have had a dearish one and a cheap one... and TBH I can't say I've noticed much difference between the two.....
I have a Braun one that I've had for years and it's great. I really don't know what the going rate is now ..........I think I paid about ÂĢ25 eight years or more ago. I've seen others and am all tempted to buy a new one but TBH - mine is still great!
braun oral b ones...
they start at about ÂĢ30 - ÂĢ100+
but they are always half price at Boots & other places... ALWAYS
I have had a couple... the basic one... and a posher (ÂĢ50 one) once... it was no better than the basic one (it just had a timer on it... which was pointless)...
I'd get the basic rechargeable one.... rrp is prob 39.99... but you should get it for 20 quid

I've three and to be honest one was about twenty quid the other two a fiver, I prefer the one of cheaper one's...tesco's I think
I do thoroughly recommend the new oral b heads that you can get for them... the polishing ones.. with the little rubber bit in the middle.... they are dead good!
I'm with Dame, cheapy from Tesco's. Works fine.
Cheap it is then, boots, what these replaceable heads about?
it should come with a couple of heads... you change the head every 3 months (there is a colour indicator on the bristles of the toothbrush head...
they aren't expensive really ... work out at ÂĢ3 per head.
I have used the standard heads for years... but recently accidently picked up the polishing ones by mistake... I was impressed with how good they are... so will stick with them now... they are about ÂĢ4 each

Well just as you'd change your toothbrush every so often - you'll change the head. It doesn't last forever! All the supermarkets sell them - they're not hard to find and not too expensive either.
I think there is not much difference between cheap and dear ones, but prefer the small round head to the oval one, easier to do the back of the teeth without gagging.

Oral B.
And make sure you buy brush heads that are small (so says my dentist).

I like sonicare , takes some getting used to, but gets into your gums too
I used an expensive Braun rechargeable. for ages. kept forgeting to charge it up so bought a oral-b pro expert Pulsar for about ÂĢ3 odd, it is just as good as the more expensive one.
