i quite like old vince cable, he's lib-dem isnt he?
he seems the only decent mp out there-and he was a bit of a rebel in his youth, which is cool- so i might go down the lib-dem road
maybe
i think Confused

i dunno

He's my birth mothers MP and he is a really good constituency MP. very warm and helpful. Total contrast to the New Labour unsympathetic, unhelpful twonk we have here

You wouldn’t know there was an election on would you? The governing party is in chronic meltdown. The Prime Mentalist is reduced to begging his sworn enemies for support. One Blairite is reported to have told a journalist “if you think this is bad, wait until the polls close”. Currently Ministers and MPs are straining to be loyal, Lord Falconer yesterday morning on the Today show put a sell-by-date on that loyalty.

After the polls close at 10 pm tonight, the battle will be joined for realâ€Ķ

Business as usual from Labour, though – every time they come to power, this is how it ends. Last 3 goes they’ve had, same result. They only lasted this time as 10 of the 12 years they were being led by a Tory in disguise. Now he’s gone and doing the after-dinner gig, normal service is resumed with backstabbing, lying, greed – the usual chaos associated with Liebour. Loving every minute of it. Just need McBust to keep on going a bit longer until he gets led out of no. 10 in a strait jacket and they get buried for a generation at the GE – absolute poetic justice for this shower.

No, no-one at our polling station either which I thought was strange!

Anyway, done my duty now and it will be interesting to see the results when they start rolling in.

Oh! Go on then!
IMHYCO this lot should have been done under the Trade Descriptions Act. We voted them in as a Labour Party who had the remit to sweep away Thatcherism and ameliorate the defects of Capitalism. They turned out to be not only Thatcherites but also strengthened Capitalism by getting into bed with Big Business and giving a free rein to their whacky market system.
I can remember real Heritage Labour. One could sit with one's loved one in a pub lit merely by candles, or a string of bulbs attached to a car battery. Then one could retire to the road outside and enjoy a knee trembler without fear of being seen due to the lack of streetlights. Halcyon days!
