May be stating the obvious here, but seems to me that we/the press 'build 'em up to knock 'em down.' From what I've seen Cheryl seems okay, but then again I don't buy red tops or celeb' type mags so don't suppose I see as much of her as some. I feel for her like I would anyone whose husband had been cheating on them, (repeatedly,) and him blaming that on her mum living with them is a bloody pathetic excuse imo. I feel sorry for anyone who's been cheated on,tbh it would be difficult not to be compassionate but this constant daily force feeding her to the public could eventually bite her on the butt,hard.....She's made her point,we got the message ,imo she'd be best bowing out gracefully now while she's still a little bit ahead.

I would also feel sorry for anyone who has been cheated on - if it had happened once.  If anyone gives a partner a chance to cheat for a second time, then I really have no sympathy at all.

Sorry, but I can't understand why anyone would give someone a second chance if they had cheated with another woman/man and betrayed their trust.

The rape threat is wrong on every level, that is a given. But why leave the threat on Dermot O'Leary's answerphone? What's he got to do with the price of fish? Hence my comparison (although I could have thought of a better one if I'd have given it more attention right enough)

I just didn't see the relevance of leaving that kind of message on someone's answerphone who has nothing to do with her?

I do like Charlotte Church, she's quite funny and I like her show. But boy oh boy was her pop music bad! That's what started the rift off, Cheryl said that thing about trying to steal Girls Aloud's sound, which she maybe did make it sound similar but wouldn't say stealing, but Charlotte used to react so easily especially a few years ago when she was a bit younger before she'd had kids, and the fact that Charlotte's pop career finished before it had really started will have also annoyed Charlotte that bit more. Anyone could wind Charlotte Church up though, but she's funny.
